We are grateful to Margaret McKenzie for her help toward establishing the Fovant History Interest Group
Margaret took a keen interest in the history of the Village, and over the years amassed a collection of artefacts and documents relating to WWI. This archive was accomplished through her dedicated research and donations, and has been bequeathed to the village.
Margaret was recently interviewed by TV Historian Dan Snow .
A podcast of this can be heard on the village website
The committee of the Fovant History Interest Group, although changed still holds regular meetings so if you would like to attend
