[For children – Who looked after them?]

Who looked after the soldiers in camp?

Teachers’ Briefing Notes.

Lots of areas for discussion. Information and pictures galore on www,fovanthistory.org . Group discussion will be useful for co-operative activity, as will comic strip illustration. Show and tell … or perhaps reading out a written account, followed by a general discussion, might suit some children better. For the older children some emphasis on the military training of the men is worth considering.
