[For children – Badges]

Who cut the badges ?

Teachers’ Briefing Notes.

Establish through discussion that badges 1 – 5 would have been cut at varying times during WW I. Ask the children why they think the Home Guard Old Comrades Association cut the two Wiltshire badges after WW II. Following the history of any of the regiments involved would make an interesting project. Click here for the history of the regiments involved and information re badge cutting methods.
